“Healing Phase”

People say, “let go”

but it sounds to me like they’re asking

It’s more than a simple action

Should there be an attraction

What if you like all the things you were holding on to?

And memories were the only thing

That helped you get through

The days & nights

They’re hard to fight

People say, “let go”

If only they knew

What if I’m not ready to let go…of what I’m holding on to?

Everybody deals differently.
