Love @ 1st Sight

Walking through a room, all I noticed was YOU.

OUR eyes met instantly.

Almost too good to be true.

MY heart felt like a magnet.

It gravitated to YOURS.

It could’ve been YOUR smile; that made ME smile more.

One minute was an hour.

Two minutes with YOU, were a day.

How delighted I was, when you asked ME for my name.

Nothing around mattered.

I’d forgotten where I was;

It could’ve been paradise,

It could’ve been Mars.

I daydreamed of OUR future

Very easily I forgot MY past.

Just like a fairytale conclusion….

OUR happy ending was meant to last.

As I started to walk away,

MY number in your hand.

Certainty was placed into the atmosphere.

Beyond what I could understand.

And strong intuition, it played its part…

As OUR souls connected in life…

There was no mistake in how I felt.
